Saman Zarnegar was born in Kermanshah, Iran and currently lives and works in Munich, Germany. He received his B.Sc. in computer science from Goethe university in Frankfurt and obtained his M.F.A at Philipps university in Marburg.
"With a degree in Computer Science in hand, I decided to study visual arts. Learning how to paint is not enough. Either it isn't sufficient to produce pieces of Paintings. The art is to communicate through it. It is in favour of the artist that the human does not think digitally. Unlike communication in computer, where a misplacement of a 0 or 1 can causes a fatal error, communication in art won't disrupt that easily. Nevertheless, there is no guideline or syntax for this communication."
